Annual Newsletter Contest Nears

JUST AS THE PONY EXPRESS thundered across the plains to deliver the mail, many NADE chapters are dedicated to delivering information on state and national activities on disability issues. Such noble efforts should be recognized! (Huh? What’s that?...we do recognize nobility?....NO, not nobility, news-ability!)

Better yet...IT’S TIME FOR THE NEWSLETTER CONTEST!! The guidelines are quite simple. Send eight (8) copies of EACH issue printed since November, 1997, to: Donna Hilton, NADE Publication Director 1117 Sunshine Drive Aurora, MO 65605

I will associate all entries into categories according to size of the chapter (small: 25 or less members; medium: 26 to 75 members; and large: 76 or more members). The entries are then sent to each of the seven publication committee representatives to vote on the chapter newsletters based on content, format, and professional appearance of the publication. Winners will be announced at the National Conference in Rapid City. First prize receives $50, second prize receives $25 in each category. DEADLINE TO ENTER IS AUGUST 15!!
