Great Lakes Regional Conference
THE WISCONSIN ASSOCIATION OF DISABILITY Examiners is hosting this year’s Great Lakes Regional Training Conference May 19-21 in Madison, Wisconsin. The conference features a number of speakers on several interesting subjects. Medical topics include spinal cord injuries, evaluating hand impairments, childhood speech and language development and the evaluation of chronic pain. There will also be a session are on SSA solvency, and a PACT panel discussion packed with information. With regard to technology, the conference will present a panel discussion covering the Electronic Medical Evidence Pilot. And, recognizing that change is a part of all of our lives, there will be session on adjusting to change. Madison is the scenic capitol of Wisconsin, which celebrated its Sesquicentennial last year. This conference may be a year too late to include any of those festivities, but there’s plenty going on in the early summer. Conference attendees can tour the Frank Lloyd Wright designed Monona Terrace Convention Center overlooking one of Madison’s lakes, or spend time in any of the lakefront parks. Madison is also well known for it’s variety of great ethnic restaurants, fine dining, and classic brew-pubs, so pack your appetite along. If you’re staying into the weekend, visit the nationally renowned Farmer’s Market surrounding the capitol Saturday morning.
The conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Madison.
