Mid-Atlantic/Northeast Bi-Regional Conference

PLANS ARE WELL UNDERWAY FOR the 1999 Mid-Atlantic/Northeast Bi-Regional Conference. This year’s conference will be held at the Sheraton Columbia Inn in Columbia, Maryland, June 9-11, 1999. The hotel overlooks Lake Kittamaqundi and is surrounded by 10 acres of woodland. You can expect informative and interesting training sessions. Relaxation is easily found with nearby festivals, special events, tennis, golfing, boating, bicycling, swimming, and shopping. Columbia has many restaurants to fit any mood. Please be sure to attend the Welcoming Buffet dinner in the Hospitality Suite, Tuesday, June 8. Enjoy Washington by Water and explore Old Town Alexandria. Plans are in the works for an evening’s entertainment at a local nightclub. There are many fun things to do and see in nearby Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland. Bring your oldest conference T-shirt. A conference will be held to see who has the oldest Bi-Regional Conference T-shirt. Wear it to the Welcoming Buffet and participate in the contest to win this year’s conference T-shirt. During the summer months the local hotels usually fill up quickly so please make your reservations early. Rates are $89 single; $99 double; elevator service is available in the Tower with rates of $99 single, and $109 double. These rates are effective June 5 to June 12, 1999.
