Alabama Chapter Sponsors Busy Fall Schedule
by Olivia Fralish, Alabama DDS
THE ALABAMA ASSOCIATION OF DISABILITY Examiners has had a
busy Fall. We had a Bar B Q Luncheon fund raiser in October.
We sold Bar B Q sandwiches, slaw, potato salad and baked beans. As always
food fund-raisers are successful for us! We also raised money for one of
our Mobile examiners who lost everything compliments of Hurricane Georges.
We held a Christmas party for A.A.D.E. members on December 4 at a local
Mexican Restaurant.
Those attending had a good time. A.A.D.E. hosted a coffee as a way to say
thank you to our agency for all their support. Our staff enjoyed donuts,
coffee and juice. A.A.D.E. members were also called on by administration
to work with them to formulating responses to the FPM & redesign issues
that are in the works. A.A.D.E. sponsored a silent suction which raised
over $400 for our Christmas charities.
This was well received in our agency and many expressed that it was so
much fun. We had our annual Christmas luncheon on December 16 with no exchange
of presents among members.
