Don’t Forget the Silent Auction in Austin!
by Glenda Croom, Non-Dues Revenue Chair
The Non-Dues Revenue Silent Auction is coming soon! This popular event has become an annual fund-raiser at the NADE National Training Conference. We’re anticipating more fantastic items and a lot of friendly competition in the quest to out bid one another. Some of the popular auction items from past years have included Maine lobsters, a massage, watches, books, gift baskets from various states, clothing and craft items.
Anyone having an item (or items) to donate to the silent auction should bring them to the conference and the procedures for the auction will be available at the registration desk. The person donating should be prepared to set a minimum bid. The bidding will be open for two days. We encourage individuals, chapters, regions, board members and anyone else to donate items. Be creative, be lavish, be simple, be whatever you want! Artists, crafters, masseurs, shoppers and anyone else with a special talent is encouraged to share it with NADE at the Silent Auction. All donations are gratefully accepted.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact Glenda Croom, Non-dues Revenue chair, at 512-437-8592. With your help, we’re looking forward to another very successful Silent Auction!
