NADE in NH Celebrates NDPW

ON JUNE 20. 2001, NADE in NH sponsored an Awards Ceremony/ Ice Cream Sundae Social. Neighboring agencies in Building II were all invited to attend.

National Disability Professionals Week comes once a year in June and is sponsored by NADE. This special week is set aside to recognize the hard work and the dedication of disability professionals throughout the United States. This year, the NADE in NH NDPW committee consisting of Judy Maynard, Paula Christofoletti, Charlotte Matteau, Mary Lou Mion, and Terry Batchelder decided to host an awards ceremony for not only its own chapter members, but also for all of our hard-working and talented employees at the NH DDS. Certificates of Appreciation were distributed to EVERY DDS EMPLOYEE.

Each employee in attendance was praised and described in detail for his/her special talents and contributions given to our agency. We realize that every employee brings something valuable to the agency and every individual deserves recognition and appreciation for the work that they do. This year, NADE in NH took the initiative to pay homage to our fellow colleagues.

The 2001 Annual MVP Award (Outstanding DDS Employee Award) was presented to Terry Batchelder. All NADE members voted for this prestigious annual award.

The Dean Crawford Olympic Gold Medals (Annual President’s Awards chosen by Past President, Paula Lebrun, and current President Terry Batchelder,) were given to Judy Maynard, Ginny Rhinehart, Peggy Vieira and Burt Nault, MD for “having been instrumental in moving the chapter forward during the past calendar year.”
