Anatomically Incorrect Story Telling by Anthony Clark
by Emily Borgel, Missouri DDS
ONE OF THE BEST WAYS to wrap up an outstanding and informative MADE conference is to have someone to send us off with a smile. The 2001 MADE conference did just that!
We were graced by the presence of Anthony Clark, a storyteller and musician. He regaled us with good old-fashioned humor, tales and comedy. He managed to rope several of us into doing a rendition of Old McDonald, complete with a frog (portrayed by Wayne Gillam), a shark (Laura Higbee), a rat (Ellvan Markley) a parrot (Mark Bernskoetter) and the ever important flamingo (Myra Rackers). In between, the musical revue, jokes and stories tickled us. The showcase was wrapped up with our own rendition of Harry Belefonte’s Dayo. Which was apropos, since we sort of “wanna go home” and share all the new and exciting information we picked up at the 2001 MADE conference.
