| NADE Launches nade.org Into Cyberspace by David Smelser, Site Administrator NADE's internet site (nade.org) is up and running. As administrator of NADE's internet site, I have been asked to write an article explaining how to access your site, nade.org (nade dot org) IT'S EASY TO USE THE INTERNET - REALLY! The easiest way for a first time internet user to 'log on' to the internet is to visit your local public library and locate the computer terminals (where ADHD magically disappears). Ask a library employee to help you find nade.org (spoken "nade dot org"). Experienced users may access the NADE internet site by pointing your 'browser to NADE's internet address nade.org http://www.nade.org Please do not mistake a 'search engine' for an address window. nade.org is an internet address, not a subject recognizable to search engines. A search engine is an online query provided by numerous websites which is used to find information by entering key words or topics into the query box on the screen. Until the entities which provide search engines become aware of nade.org, no keywork will yield the desired results. Contents of nade.org to date include 'links' to: Conference updates State Chapters will find information about how to have their own State page by going to nade.org and clicking on the State Chapter link. See if you can find the link to the Denver Hyatt Regency hotel (host of the 1999 National Conference) complete with pictures, descriptions of the facility, information on area attractions, and more. |
