Mississippi to Host 1999 Southeast Regional Conference by Jeff Price, NADE President

THE MISSISSIPPI CHAPTER OF THE National Association of Disability Examiners will be the proud hosts for the 1999 Southeast Regional Training Conference, May 18-21. The event will take place in Jackson, Mississippi, and Regional President Leola Meyer has proclaimed that the event will be one of the best ever! The Southeast Regional Board of Directors will meet on Tuesday afternoon, May 18 and will be followed by the President’s Reception that evening. Training sessions will begin on Wednesday morning and will go through noon on Friday. These sessions will feature such topics as disability redesign, organ transplant, a psychologist’s perspective of the mental impairment examination, pediatric and speech issues, updates on infectious diseases, chronic pain, malingering, and much more. There will also be demonstrations of PFS, doppler studies, and more. A bus trip to Vicksburg is scheduled for Wednesday evening. The conference will feature lots of fun and excitement as well as provide conference goers with an opportunity to expand their knowledge of the disability program. Let’s go!
