NADE IS ONCE AGAIN SPONSORING a membership contest. This is to let you know “the race is on”. I’m happy to report that currently we have 2003 members as of our 4/99 printout. Thanks to each of you who have joined us in striving to reach our goal of each member recruiting one NEW MEMBER. We’re on our way! Just as important in recruiting new members, we need to work just as hard to retain the current members. Sharing NADE’s accomplishments with co-workers is one sure way of letting them know that NADE is not only addressing the issues, but also proposing realistic solutions. For contest purposes, Chapters will be divided into three (3) size categories: Small (25 or fewer), Medium (26-75) and Large (76 or more). The winners will be determined using the 10/98 printout and the 9/99 printout. Cash awards of $50 and $25 will be given to the two Chapters in each category showing the largest numerical increase over the life of the contest. An award will also be presented to the largest chapter. This year we will also recognize those chapters in each category that retains the largest percentage of current members. All chapters meeting the annual membership growth of 10% will also be recognized. Each chapter has the opportunity to lead the race! A strong effective organization thrives from active grass root involvement, which has always been displayed across the nation. Keep up the good work! Just a few reminders about renewals. Use the renewal form at the bottom of your notice, assuring that your name and address are correct so that your membership benefits continue without interruption. Respond to the first notice, if possible, that will save our Association money which can then be used for training activities and to represent you before Congress and the Social Security Administration.
