| Great Plains Regional Training Conference June 14-16,
1999 Lincoln, Nebraska The NADE Great Plains Regional Training Conference will be held in Lincoln, Nebraska at the Holiday Inn-Downtown, June 14th through June 16th, 1999. Hotel arrangements have been made through the newly remodeled Holiday Inn, which is right across the street from the Nebraska DDS. Please make your hotel reservations directly with the Holiday Inn in Lincoln, Nebraska. Hotel reservations MUST be made by 5/31/99 to insure the discount room rate. Call the Holiday Inn Hotel at (402) 475-4011 and specify you are registering as part of the NADE-National Association of Disability Examiners conference. Single room rates are $62.00 and doubles are $72.00. These rates do not include a 9 percent room and sales tax. The hotel is located at 141 N. 9th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska. There is a complementary hotel shuttle from the Lincoln airport. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool, exercise room, and the Green Mill Restaurant. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The Nebraska Unit of Disability Examiners has an exciting and informative conference planned. Medical topics, such as fibromyalgia, pain, ADHD and transplants, will be discussed as well as programmatic issues such as fraud and return to work. Conference registration after 5-15-99 will be $60.00 for members and $70.00 for non-members. Daily registration will be $20.00 and anyone wishing to attend the Awards Luncheon on Monday June 14 should add $15.00. A silent auction will be held throughout the conference as part of a philanthropy project. There is much to see and do in the Historic Haymarket area where you will be staying. An excursion is planned for Tuesday evening, June 15, 1999, to a free “Jazz in June” concert at Sheldon Sculpture Gardens on the grounds of the University of Nebraska. The Hospitality Room will be available to you on Sunday, June 13th. We will be going to area restaurants and/or outdoor beer gardens on the other evenings.
