LONG TIME NADE MEMBER Steve Bonowski left the Colorado DDS on May 1 to pursue various business and consulting opportunities in the private sector. Bonowski served in a variety of positions for 25 years with two different DDSs: Indiana (1973-1981) and Colorado (1981-1998). Steve joined NADE in 1973 and served on the NADE Board from 1977 to 1983. He was the primary author of the new bylaws for an independent NADE in 1978, and served as NADE President in 1980. He received the Charles O. Blalock National Service Award from NADE in 1982 and the Lewis Buckingham 10 Year Service Award in 1987. Steve indicates that he plans to retain his membership and will assist CADE in hosting the 1999 National NADE Training Conference in Denver.
